Hello,

I'd appreciate any help on this. I have a Sony TV that I need a discrete code for. I found all of the codes here, but do I try all the listed 4 digit codes? Or cut and paste the whole list? Also, I'm not quite sure the exact steps for changing the code with in Pronto Edit? The 'Using Disrete Codes' on here isn't the easiest to follow. Does anyone have a step by step way in plain english? Thanks everyone!

Copy and paste the code for the specific function into the expanded IR window within pronto edit.

The whole group. This will be considered an ir code from this site for a Sony tv.

0000 0067 0000 000d 0060 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0452

Forgot what this code is for though, so don't use this one.

In order to place it into a button......

Open the button for which you want to the code to go into.

Delete anything that is in the action list.

Click on "Set Ir"

On that new window, click on "view ir".

And then on that new pull down window, paste the ir code into that area.

Then click the "ok"s
