Does anyone have any other fixes please???? i've got it sitting on my desk, hooked up to the charger with the com cable hooked up right now. with update running right now. but again, no avial.

please help, please.

You could try Tonto, you can download here: [Link: giantlaser.com], use version 1.423. If you have a constant rebooting loop, use the "undead" feature. Select "remote" on the toolbar, "undead remote" open your ccf and follow the instructions.

Actually got it....
I've found that if you hit the start on firmware update just before it beeps I get a very high success rate on the update. both remotes now in working order, just have to download the ccf into them. i will however remember tonto just in case....
thanks much.
