I have a pronto neo and am considering buying a pronto 2000 just because the codes are all in the files section for me to download with exception of 2 which are pronto 1000 will the two codes for 1000 upload to the 2000 w/o problems.

Yes, codes for the 1000, 2000, and 6000 (and the Marantz's) are interchangeable. Notice I said "codes", ccfs for a 6000 cannot be loaded into a 2000 (1000 OK) but with PE 4.05 you can open a 6000 ccf and get the codes.

ts1000 codes and CCFs will load into the tsu2000 (and upwards) with no problem. but some codes (udb) and CCFs (due to varying screen sizes) are not completely backwards compatible.

..............oh, crap! somebody whack me upside the haid...........i'm getting all serious and helpful and all. not like me in the least bit.

just ask mr. pouty-pouty-pouty-no-sense-of-humor-man..............i think i need another prozac!!!!!

like they said above, the answer is yes. And any CCF remote can load any CCF. Obviously on a 2000 you will not see color if you load a Pro CCF and there is the obvious file size....
