I just purchased a Dell Latitude laptop running Windows 2000 Pro and ProntoEdit 4. All program functions work OK except I can not up-load from the ProntoPro to ProntoEdit 4. I get a message, " Error uploading configuration from RC device". Does anyone know why?
Thanks,
JoeH

Try waking the remote up by tapping the screen immediately prior to upload.

Tapping usually isn't the issue on uploading to ProntoEdit. There are some issues with the Pronto Pro on uploading:

- make sure you are on the current firmware version; there was an uploading bug in earlier versions

- Pronto Pro can find it difficult to upload larger CCFs; if this is the case, set up a tiny CCF to learn to; download that; learn your codes; upload amd merge into your main CCF
