I just purchased a Dell Latitude laptop running Windows 2000 Pro and ProntoEdit 4. All program functions work OK except I can not up-load from the ProntoPro to ProntoEdit 4. I get a message, " Error uploading configuration from RC device". Does anyone know why? Thanks, JoeH

Try waking the remote up by tapping the screen immediately prior to upload. Jim L

Tapping usually isn't the issue on uploading to ProntoEdit. There are some issues with the Pronto Pro on uploading:
- make sure you are on the current firmware version; there was an uploading bug in earlier versions
- Pronto Pro can find it difficult to upload larger CCFs; if this is the case, set up a tiny CCF to learn to; download that; learn your codes; upload amd merge into your main CCF
