All,

I'm writing because there are absolutely no files on this site for the Sony CDP-CX455. I need a single 'Album' discrete code for the 455 or any other Sony MP3-capable CD Jukebox.

'Album' is analagous those that discrete codes exist for 'Disc' and 'Track'.

I need to know to the code. It appears that the changer supports Album + and Album - using functions 0x67 (103) and 0x66 (102).

I've had a request to provide 'Album' functionality in SuperNudelist. However, doing so with only Album+/Album- will be very problematic. Not to mention that the time required to do the necessary IR to reset to Album1 each time will be daunting.

All you will need to do is to download the SonyCDChanger.zip file from this site. (Search for file postings by Lyndel McGee) and test the function codes '0x**' on the 'Other*' panel for the Command Mode your player is set for. For example, your remote is on position #1, use device Player-1. position #2, use device Player-2. etc...

I would like the integration into SNL to be as easy and as functional as possible. To my knowledge, Sony is the only CD Changer to support multiple albums.

Any help any of you can provide will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Lyndel McGee

No one out there has a CX455? Eric Steinberg has indicated that the code does not exist after testing. Is there no one else with a 455 who can give this a shot?
