Hi,

I am planning to get the TU-1000 but does is has AKAI Plasm on/off button descrete code available? Or can i use other similar code instead? If i could not find descrete code from file section for my VCR or DVD player. Is that mean i cannot define on/off in same button if i am going to set MACRO??? Becasue all of the remote control has one ON/OFF button and i really want to setup MACRO to turn on and off all device correctly. Any help would very appreciate.

Thanks

You can look in the file section right now if you want. But also realize that the codes may not work as well.

However, with most dvd players. The Play button acts like an on button. Although it will start playing the dvd. So you can do this to make it an on button.

Play delay, if needed, stop

As an off button, Play delay if needed, toggel power to swtich it off.

As for the plasma tv. Well there are no discrete codes in any of the prontos that I know of. However, they can be easly programmed in, if they are around.

Hi,

Let's say for my Panasonic DVD player, I want to use descrete code to define ON/OFF. I found this link below from File section (Descrete code for Panasonic DVD player w/bunch of binary code). Is it going to work if i copy this to Pronto remote??? It did not say for which model.

It should work. Model numbers does not matter. Because the same remote can control the same device of the same company.

Also, that is NOT binary code. Binary only has 0 and 1. That code has, or can, have all digits. It's called an ir code though.

it is called hexadecimal since the digits run from 0-9,a,b,c,d,e,f (16 of them)
