Thank you! What a treasure RemoteCentral.com is.
I recently acquired a Pronto 2000. Simply put, the remote and associated software interfaces are (IMO) so clunky, counter-intuitve, and frustrating that I’m not at all certain the thing wouldn’t be in the trash by now if it weren’t for the information, resources, and question-answering that I’ve found at RemoteCentral.com.
Just by itself, the “A4-08 What happened to my Mode button?” item in the “Unofficial Philips Pronto & Marantz RC5000 Intelligent Remote Control FAQ” has saved me from pulling lots of hair out my head.
I know none of this happens in a vacuum – bills have to be paid. I will make a conscious effort to try to patronize this site's sponsors.
