Such brilliant insight! I've had mine for 18 months, and have had only a couple of minor problems. How foolish of me to be happy with it! There! I've crushed it down the garbage disposal!
O.K. Now how much does a Crestron cost?
(maybe I should have asked this before I demolished my Pronto)

I own a Pronto 1000, a Marantz RC5000i, a Marantz RC5200, and a Marantz RC9200. I haven't had a single problem with any of them... including the 3+ year old Pronto.
I like Crestron products too, but they are targeted at a different customer.

Some of us "Love" our Pronto's and treat them with affection. Maybe that's Dalton's problem. He simply has not shown the remote the "Love" it deserves. A kind word or two never hurts. Who Knows????
We all know that a Windows PC never works right unless you talk nice to it.
"Come on Baby, please boot up without any problems. Don't corrupt my registry. You know you can do it!!! I have faith in you!!!"
By the way, Dale, your inventory sounds like you are running a "Sharper Image" franchise.
LMAO

Perhaps, given so many postive experiences with this product, what we're really dealing with is an inability to program? This can be caused by a lack of logical thought processes, technophobia, or in many cases being just plain lazy. Find a support group. Jim L

Could not agree more with Dalton (PURE JUNK) 8meg HA HA! my daughters toys have more memory than that. No video or current sensing. Seems like a out dated dinosaur. Any Custom install company using this product is not a a very professional company. If you dont think your clients are worth giving the best to RASE YOUR STANDARDS.
