I am still waiting for my Pronto Pro to dry out from an earlier mishap. Is it possible to just convert my current ccf to work on this new remote? I don't have one yet, I am just researching it. I just thought it might be a cheaper alternative to the Pro.

It can be done, but you'll need to work on it for it to look right (the TSU3000 has more screen space).
