Does somebody out there know a discrete code for 'power on' for the Sony DAVS300 (remote control RM-SS300)??

the play command is a discrete power on. there is no other "power on" code.

Try this code...I believe it works for most if not all Sony DVD players. It has worked on 4 different models that I've tried it on.

the davs300 is a complete system and I don't think that it's the same commands
