Okay..something very strange happened to one of our shop's 5200's that I was learning with that i desperately need help with. After creating a file for the system at my house, I downloaded the file to the remote, noticed a change that needed to be made, and re-downloaded to the remote. My computer stated the download was successful, but the remote read invalid file. Now the remote will not power up, beeps about every 20 seconds, and nothing I have tried will reboot to the factory default file. I've tried removing the battery(for 20 minutes) and using the reset button located in the battery compartment. AS this is a new remote that belong to the shop, I REALLY need to get this working again by Monday. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Bullet #3 applies here. Reflash the remote.

When the problem occured and the CONSTANT rebooting sounds more like a failed download, try to redownload an earlier version of the ccf using the hyperterminal fix here: [Link: remotecentral.com]. It's much easier to accomplish, if that doesn't work, then try reflashing the firmware.
