Sorry for this simple question, but I am new at this:

What is the best way to change button graphics using ProntoEdit 4.0.5. I downloaded the "Gallery.CCF" file found in the files section here at remote central. I can then load it into this into the prontoedit gallery. Lets say I want to change the stock grey button to a navy blue button. From what I can tell I need to add the button to the appropriate panel and then assign the desired action to it. The problem is, what if I'm unsure of the action? and/or how can I edit the properties of a graphic located in the gallery section?

Thanks for your help.

not sure what you are asking. So here is some basic info.

1)You can open the gallery CCF like any CCF and edit it in the same way

2)In PE if you look under tools you will find "Modify bitmaps" you can use that function to change all similar icons in one shot

3) any button can have any function you want, you can either learn a code or aliase to button that has it.

4) on any specific button you can dblclk the button to get to its properties and then click on the icon tab to change any of the icons

5) you can copy the look of one button to an other by using alt dradg and drop

6)you can copy the actions of one button to an other by using shift dradg and drop

7) you can copy any button by using ctrl dradg and drop

You open up the panel with the button you want to change. Open up the gallery with the button you want overlay. Hold the alt key down and drag the new button over the new button. That will replace the button wi thout re-doing whatever the button does. If you need more help email me at [email protected].
