Hi
I wonder if someone could sort this problem out for me. I intially got my RC 5200 to "learn" the up and down sequences for my TV's volume control. When I press the standard remote, by leaving the button pressed, the volume continues to rise or fall until the respective button is released. I have managed to program the Home hard buttons correctly and the hard buttons in my SKY+ Properties panel also are functioning correctly.
Now when I try to copy the codes into the hard buttons in my "favourite TV" proerties panel (SKY TV) the up and down commands only work by continuing to press and release a number of times - they don't work by keeping the button depressed.
The relevant codes are:
TV - Up

The Home Hard Buttons and the SKY+ Hard buttons work properly despite the final set of digits being different in both instances (Up & Down.
However despite copying either of these sets into the SKY+ Properties panel (to programme the hard buttons again) they only work by constantly cliking the respective hard button.
What is wrong? This is doing my head in. If I am in the SKY+ panel and got the RC5200 to "learn" the code in this way - would the change be global - ie; would it be the same in every panel on my remote? If this doesn't change other panels and the useage of the hard buttons doesn't alter then this might be the way forward. I do have several devices using volume controls and depending what panel I am in will depend on how I want the hard buttons to operate. Using the "Properties panel" in each device using Touch Screen Setup only changes the hard buttons properties in that particular panel which is what I want, but I am unsure how things will work if the RC5200 "learns the codes" instead of copying them in TS Setup.
I have a similar problem in another device in that I cannot program a volume control to work properly. It will work ok until such a time as I upload a variation of my CCF from TS Setup following which I have the same clicking problem.
I would be grateful for any help.

Sorry I meant to say that I am trying to make the Hard buttons work in my "SKY TV" Panel NOT SKY+ - SKY+ and the Home Hard Buttons both work OK - sorry if I have confused.

You shouldn't be copying the codes. Instead you should alias to the original code. The idea is to have just one copy of each IR Code in your CCF, which should all be kept together. This saves a lot of memory and also makes it easier when you upgrade your equipment.
Make sure the action list on your hard button has exactly one and only one action which is the alias to the button containing the IR code. If you have more than one action, you can't press it continuously.
