How do I program my Light Dimmer Remote into my TS-1000. The remote works with a quick click for on and off and dim up and down by holding the button in.

I can't figure out how do get this to work on the Pronto.

Thanks

I'm going to try that but I don't think it will work. It has 1 button and quick clicks turn the lights on and off and holding down the button dims the lights up and down!

You don't say what brand. It sounds like the basic Lutron Spacer, if so, and you don't want to learn, codes are in the files area.

Is it IR?

Your description implies that the on/off and ramping functions occur when the lamp portion of the device responds to the pattern of the remote signal. In other words, the remote is not causing the particular response by virtue of its IR signal, the lamp is interpreting it.

BUT

Try learning the code two ways --

First learn a quick tap, then make a macro of two of them with a short pause. This could work as an on/off command.

Then learn the command holding the button down. This learning style will allow you to send the command continuously, ramping the light up or down.

A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Hi,

sounds like the problem I hab with my GIRA Dimmers. They used 455 kHz frequency, but the pronto has a limit of 96 (?) kHz, so it won't work.

I'm going to buy Busch & Jaeger Dimmers, for them there is a ccf file, so it seems they will work.

It uses 38kHz so it should be learnable.

the Pronto will work at 455khz; it's designed for 56khz and less, plus 455khz for b&o products
