I am having trouble programming the Jvc Rec. to work with the Pronto TSU-2000. The Jvc has a rf remote so it isnt learning it. Does anyone out there have the ir commands for this reciever. I would much appreciate it. Thanks..

Two things..

First are you sure it can be controled via ir. Since the oem is rf.

Second, did you check the file section of this website? As well as theinternal ir data base on your remote.

Supposedly the RF antenna disables the IR sensor on the front, so remove the RF antenna and it should accept IR signals. Getting the IR commands is another problem.

Low and behold you are correct. I just removed the antenna and bingo my IR remote works.

FYI Tivo owner (Tivo/Mute for 5 seconds) .. then 1163
