Well it died. Got 2 years out of it. Was working the
night before, came home from work and tapped the screen and it beeped and was flashing the battery
so I put it onto the ds1000 for a recharge and it
charged and the touch screen was dead. The hard buttons work, and brings up a screen. I reloaded the
firmware, default CCF and left the battery out for several days. Anyone had this problem, Is it worth
sending in to get fixed. The unit has been babied.
hasnt been dropped and has the leather cover.
Thanks
Robert

Well I did a search and found a lot of people with bad
displays. I took mine apart and here is what I found.
Reseated the screen cable....Still broke.

The lcd screen has no MFG name on it.
Part number looks to be L303517-1
The serial # is 50394068.
Went to earth lcd and they want 59 bucks plus shipping
for a replacement.
Any place else to find replacements?
Robert

I had problems also, went to ebay, got a refurbed one tsu1000 for 99 delivered and have had it for almost a year. It actually works quicker than my other older pronto. (better than taking it apart and putting a new screen in for $60!)
