What is the best way to set the ProntoPro up? Should I learn all of my remotes in it, then change the buttons to look the way I want? Should I download someone eles ccf (D. Tonks) and try (with little success) to make it control my equipment? Should I pay someone to do the work for me? I found most of my equipment codes in the component file section, but I do not know how to make my remote into the power house, do-it-all with 1 touch that I thought I could. I love D. Tonks GUI, I would love to have my remote screen look like that and work. The thinks I want most of all is to have cd title & track names for my Sony 200 cd juke and jaacket pictures for my Sony 300+1 DVD juke. Extra would be icons for fav radio and cable stations. I have read the FAQ, in fact I have read most every thing I can find. I need real help, someone to hold my hand and tell me "how" to do this.
Thanks,
Joe

Joe,
I guess everyone in this forum had the same thoughts when they started with the pronto.
I would indeed start with someone else's CCF - Daniels or Dales. Learn all buttons of your remotes in simple panels. You can then use them by aliasing them to graphically more sophisticated buttons.
I wouldn't pay anybody to design my ccf - you'll miss most of the fun.
I also have a 300DVD and a 300 CD Changer. Works like charme an is lots of fun.

André,
Thanks for the responce. I am completely overwelmed by the lack of support of ProntoEdit. Is there other software I could use that is more useer freindly? I have heard of "TONTO", but know less about it than I do about ProntoEdit...
How did you do your 300DVD and a 300 CD? With folders and sub folders or icons? Where did you get your design? How long did it take you to learn what you were doing?---->OK, NO MORE QUESTIONS< FOR NOW.

Joe,
I made the DVD and CD panels without any program. There are screenshots of both HERE.
I do not know about Tonto, but Stewart Allen is the developer and a frequent visitor of this forum.
