Hello,
I am a new owner of a prontopro, had it for almost a week now and love it. I have all my "other" remotes learned into this one, it is great. I am now tring to use Prontoedit, I am having some trouble learning the software, is there a site with instructions on how to make panels, add devices, add buttons, how to use aliase, ect. I would like to use other ccf, but I am finding the learning curve a little too sharp for this "good ol' boy".
Thanks for all your help.
Joe

Joe, just start by reading the FAQ, you can also try the different manuals since all the remotes work basically the same, then just start slowly. It should all click soon and then you can work full steam. Also read the original review (TS-1000) a lot of info there

Joe be patient I consider myself pretty savy in the techincal areas and when i got my remote I was pumped. As soon as I opened pronto edit about an hour after staring at It I wanted to CRY. I looked at over 100 diffrent ccfs till I found a few I liked then I started cuting and pasting what I liked and made my own. Just look at some ccfs and open then up and run the emulator to see how others flow and then start on off on your own. Also save very very frequently. Cause it sucks to acidently delte a whole panel that you just crated and programed. X

I was starting to play with some of them, I am having trouble, I just wanted to edit the channels for some of the locals that are already setup,I can't figure out how to do it. abierce: take a deep breath and calm down. It is overwhelming at first, but it is not tough once you get used to it.

1) dblclking anything will bring you to the next level
2) right clicking gives you choices

----------

as for changing commands, read [Link: remotecentral.com] to know what type of commands are used. If it uses aliases then use the info on the line to get to the right place device-panel-button
