Everytime that I place the battery pack in, not sure about the 4AAs. There is a delay on the first button for it to work. At first I thought it was because it's still booting up. But even if I waited at least a minute, there is still a 1 to 2 second delay.

So far it doesn't seem to effect anything. So I am not worried about it. Just wondering if anyone else does that to. Or at least the remote.

I haven't noticed this, doesn't mean it doesn't happen however. Let you know if I encounter it.

I think this is normal. Everytime I load a CCF in the Pronto, the first button I press takes a little delay to work. (try with a button that only has jump in it). After that everything works OK. Maybe this is your case...
