Hi, how can I incorporate a ccf panel from a downloaded ccf into mine? I tried to copy the panel and then paste it into a new panel in my ccf but PE4 wouldn't allow me to do it. The 'easytheater.ccf' I downloaded is in the same file as mine, but since I can't open both at the same time I copied the downloaded file and then closed it and opened mine and tried pasting. Any suggestions? Thanks...jb

B6-07 How can I best merge CCF files?

THIS might help as well.

Click on the links in the box below, in particular you will find : the FAQ, Reviews, Play With It, Phases, Planning and ALIAS.CCF helpful when just starting out.

And remember when you ask questions to be specific in your Heading and very specific in your question, including precisely what your problem/question is and what model Remote you have and what OS you are using on your PC.

Also, don't forget the Search Forum at the bottom of the Page. It may seem slow but it is VERY thourough and don't be mislead by the "0%" you will see on the first screen, it is only a progress marker.

You could use Tonto instead of PE- Tonto allows multiple ccf's to be open at once and cutting and pasting between them.

You must delete everything from the CCF exept the panel or device you want to copy. Then open your CCF and merge. Then use Ctrl and arrow to take the new panel where you want it. save new config as your CCF. PE doesn't allow you to copy and paste from one CCf to another unless you merge the two.

I would save this file

Then open your CCF and merge.

it is better to replace, then open the file saved and merge

Then use Ctrl and arrow to take the new panel where you want it. save new config as your CCF. PE doesn't allow you to copy and paste from one CCf to another unless you merge the two.

Your way will work, but it will end up getting the system properties of the unwanted file and not the ones from your file
