There are 16 Component and 18 System CCFs in the Files Section.

Click on the links in the box below, in particular you will find : the FAQ, Reviews, Play With It, Phases, Planning and ALIAS.CCF helpful when just starting out.

And remember when you ask questions to be specific in your Heading and very specific in your question, including precisely what your problem/question is and what model Remote you have and what OS you are using on your PC.

Also, don't forget the Search Forum at the bottom of the Page. It may seem slow but it is VERY thourough and don't be mislead by the "0%" you will see on the first screen, it is only a progress marker.

CLICK ON THESE LINKS
FAQ | Files | Reviews | Play with it | Phases | Planning | ALIAS.CCF | Copying
.BMPs & Galleries
| Discretes | Docking Station | NEO | X-10 | Parts | Cable | Buy/Sell

If you want the files on this site to work, you first need to change the code your receiver responds to. The method of changing your receiver might differ from this link, so check the manual;

Thanks for your suggestions, the particular problem I have is that all the device ccf files I've used for my Sony STR-DA5ES receiver have worked for the most part, but two button IR's don't. These are the "rear mid" and "rear mid frequency" buttons. Also in the process I noticed the up and down adjust buttons did not work either, but got a good IR from an old Sony remote's left and right cursor arrows.
I really have tryed MrKlaatu!
Please help :-(

Any help?

Any help with what?

One thing you have to remember about any message board is that if someone doesn't respond to your post, that doesn't mean they are ignoring you. It just means they don't have the answer to the question you've asked. Remote Central would get painfully congested if every member answered every question with, "Nope, I don't know the answer to that."

And unfortunately, I also don't know anything about the problem described in this thread.

Sorry, wish I could help.

Dale

you'd be much better off starting a new thread, as its very difficult to tell what youre talking about.

is this related directly, in any way to the original topic?

In the Sony receivers device files section BSLee posted a ccf which includes a cool set of what I assume are discrete codes to tweek the receiver's (Sony STR-DA50ES) eq settings.
If you look he has a submenu for rear speaker eq adjustments. My issue is that two of those button IRs, "rear mid" and "rear mid frequency" do not work my receiver (STR-DA5ES).
At this point I have tested all available files on the site to no avail with the same two buttons!
Has anyone had the same problem?

Sorry Dale, my frustration has got the best of me :-( I do beg your pardon.
