Habe zwei Pronto 940 im Einsatz und
möchte gerne einen B&O CD Wechsler steuern
Hi and good morning from Germany, I have two Pronto 940.
I want to buy a bang & Olufson Beosound 9000
but the dealer told me, that without any special software it is not possible to use the pronto with the B & O 9000
Anybody with an Idea?

I think Philips had added B&O codes back a few years in the 890 model. Since you already have a Pronto, you are better off to bring it to the dealer and try learning the codes there, if it works you have the answer. As for special SW never heard of it. Did he mean ProntoEdit?

BTW there is a file containing codes for a B&O 9000 CD player in the file section [Link: remotecentral.com]

yes it is possible to learn b&o on a pronto the frequency used is very specific(455khz) the pronto remotes are designed to handle any frequencies below 56khz and 455khz specificaly for b&o products
