Hi,

If you can find a configuration file in the files section which corresponds to your TV, Video ect, how do these work?

Do you just down load the file to your Pronto and then it works or is there more to it than that?

Also, this is a bit of a pointless question in some regards as I can not find a file for anything I have

Scientific Atlanta 8650-EO Cable box
Toshiba 32ZT29 TV
Toshiba SD220E DVD
Toshiba V752UK Video

Without these files if they are really just 'down load and go' how would I programme these devices into the remote?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Basically, if you find something you like in the files area, you delete what you don't want and then merge what you want INTO your ccf. This can be pages, devices, codes or any combination the preceeding.

Also, every company uses the ir codes on all of their models. No matter what number they are. So just look for a file, specaily one that is close to the model number that you have. And test it out.

Programming this remote is not easy task. But it is well worth the time.

So just play with the puppy. You both will learn somethbing.

Also if you don't find exact models, most of the time similar models will work.
