Hi,

I want to buy a very good remote. I need to have it for mutiple rooms to control different systems (currently three systems).

Which one should I go for?

I would go with the Pro, there is a reason one is a remote and the other is not. You can also look at the PDA forum to get their opinion. Depending on your needs, you might also want to look at the Marantz RC-9200

Hi,
I would go for a 3850 with IR-Extender and TV-Remote. It gives you a great PDA with Pronto functionality and the IR-range of a good remote.
The 3950 is more expensive, NEVO is really a low level remote with quite poor IR-performance and the extenders don't work with it.
The ProntPro is very slow and has a really bad display. I returned mine after little more than a week because I really wasn't satisfied with it.
I myself now have an iPAQ 3660, 3850 and 3870, they all work very good and not only for remote purposes. You will be suprised what else your "remote" can do.

Greetings

Wilhelm
