I just got my RU 940 today & I need a bit of advice. I downloaded my config to photoedit and merged it with a panasonic ccf I got from downloads. It all seems fine in the emulator. But befor I upload it to the unit I would like to no if the file I upload will overwrite the existing file & work fine as in the emulator or will I end up with a duplicate config Ie have everything duplicated, and therefor should I only upload the changes.

As Anthony said, overwrite. The things you can't check in the emulator are code issues. Whether they are reliable, is the timing (delays) in the macros working correctly and things like that. It does usually take some checking and trouble shooting to get everything working right after you download. I know you didn't ask this question - but what the hell ;-).
