Is there anyway to get a device panel button to perform a macro. I think it can be done in pronto edit. But pronto edit is a little difficult to work with. I have figured out how to use the macro screen but would like to make 1 button on my device screens turn everything off. I have figured out most of the features on the remote, but find pronto edit a little difficult to work with. Thanks

no, just PE. PE can be a bit difficult at first (especially once you consider how much more you can do with it) but it just takes some getting used to it, and after you do it is real easy.

Ryan,
Just in case Anthony's message didn't make sence.
You can put marcos anywhere on the remote, device, home and macro side of the remote.
What you need to do is open a button in PE. And select alais(top button on left) And just select what button you want to be used in that button. In your case, the off button for each device you want to be turned off in the off button.

thanks :-)

But he said he did not want to use PE, so the answer is

NO, cannot be done

does that make sence Rob? :-)

I don't see a sentance on where he says he doesn't want to use pe. Yeah he said twice that he finds it hard to use. But I guess it's all on how we read people's messages.

Oh, Oh!!! My turn, My turn!!! It sure sounds like that's what he's implying Rob. (yuk, yuk)

In any event, if you find PE confusing, do most of your programming on the remote. For some things, use PE. Eventually, you'll become proficient with PE and do everything on the software.

Agree, he never did say it directly, but I still think he wanted a none PE way of doing it.
