Just to let everyone know (we've already had an initial post in : [Link: remotecentral.com] ).

There's new downloads for RC 5200 and RC9200 in the US Marantz site dated today and last night.

the software is identical. Not sure about the 9200 firmware, but the 5200 firmware is an UPDATED version just for the US version (1.4.1 vs. 1.3.1 from the European site).

I uploaded this to my unit and cannot see any differences between 1.4.1 and 1.3.1. The new "Auto Backlight" feature works the same...

The new 2.04 software is identical to the European version. The interesting tidbits are that the TSS software contains the 1.3.1 firmware (not the later 1.4.1 release...). Also, the license agreement still says it's BETA...

Interestingly, when I DL'd the "new" version, it installed the current, old version of TSS. Has anyone else encountered this?

It might be a problem on your end. Uninstall the old software first, and also download the software to your harddisk before installing. It worked fine for me.

Thanks Oferlaor. Actually, I was using an old link to get to the software, and that link still had the old version. Did a new "marantz.com" and got to the correct Marantz location, installed the new version with no problem.
