I know, search the forums. I tried that and got lots of stuff to wade through, but nothing useful. I'm looking for the following discrete codes:
1. Power on/off for Sony Wega
2. Input selection (i.e., video 1, 2, 3, 4, TV) for a Sony Wega
3. Power on/off for a Hughes DirecTV executive box

Anybody know if these are TOADs? If not, anybody have the codes?

you need to cut and paste them;
right click on the code and copy it,
in pronto edit,
double click on the button you want the code in,
click on set IR,
click on view IR,
paste the code.....

voila

If it's any help, I just programed my tsu2000 via the learning function from the original remote for 36" Sony Wega XBR. I'm just a beginner when it comes to the button layout,but if you would like I could E-mail you the .ccf file. The .ccf file operates all the functions of the TV. If You're interested let me know and I'll E-mail them to you.

Thanks, but I have my RC5200 set up for the Wega already, I just needed discrete codes because I was writing some macros and they get much simpler and more reliable if you have the discrete codes for video input and power. You can't get the discrete codes via the learning process from the original remote (at least on mine), because the original remote does not have separate buttons for on, off, and the various video inputs. Rather, my original remote has TOAD buttons that simply toggle for these functions. As a result, when writing a macro to, say, power up all the necessary components to watch a DVD in surround sound, you have to jump through a bunch of hoops and delays to get the TV video input in a known state, then change it to the ultimate state you need using the toggle method. It's even worse with the power function, because there's no way to get the TV in a known state. As a result, you have to write a separate macro for each situation (starting with the TV on vs. starting with the TV off). Let me know if you would like me to email you my macro .ccf file. My macros include: power everything up to watch a DVD and jump to the remote's DVD panel; power everything up to watch TV and jump to the DSS panel; power everything off and leave the components in "wife mode" (watching TV without the AV amp); and a macro panel filled with direct access icon buttons for all my favorite DSS stations, with the hard buttons aliased to the AV amp volume controls, the DSS channel controls, and various other convenient DSS functions.
Cheers.
