It's early in the morning, so let me get a recap here. If you use a keyboard and hit the command and M keys the PIP moves but if you learn this command into the Pronto, you have to change the receiver mode to Aux to get it to function with the Pronto............ I am going for another cup of coffee (perhaps with a chaser) and contemplate this.

Dazed and confused.

I can't get it learned into the pronto (move PIP) the files I downloaded say they are for the UTV remote in the aux mode. The PIP move option is only on the keyboard and the keyboard has no AUX mod so I don't know how they got the function learned in the first place. My original question was that I can't get the PIP move learned from the keyboard to the Pronto. The keyboard command is command key and m key at the same time. I am going over to the AVS forum, ultimate tv and see if I can find out anything over there.

I was at the AVS forum for UTV and one post said He has the prontoNeo which allows him to learn from the UTV keyboard, so maybe you can't learn from the keyboard with the Pronto.

No, the keyboard will work no matter what code you're set to. Aux was brought up only because the file stated it. As for learning the PIP MOVE from the keyboard, the CMD does send a signal. So you have to learn both the CMD and M to separate buttons. The trick to learning off the keyboard; open the battery cover and remove them, you'll see two slide switches, throw them or slide them. I've taught SAVE,FAV, PIP MOVE, and CMD+A,which brings up hidden type, to my non pronto learning remote.

So you have to press two buttons on your remote to move the PIP if that is the case, then you will have to learn the command key and the m key an build a button in the Pronto thats sends the cmd followed by a delay and then the m key. I have the code for the m key if someone could send me the command key code I will try to get it to work.

I don't beleive this. I tried learning the cmd/m from the keyboad to a button and now it works to move PIP. here is the code.

Thanks for the code...works great.

Tom

P. S. not to be a pain but maybe you might learn all the extra command codes (I personally would love the swap command)and post them on here, since the files in the archive don't seem to work correctly. I am sure there would be lots of people who would appreciate it...Thanks again

Jim, thanks for the code. As far as I can tell, the code moves the PIP left or right near the bottom of the screen. Is there any way to nest it all the way in the lower corners? I was wondering if one can do that with the keyboard, and if so, whether a combination of keys would work in Pronto?

Thanks

Sam

To Turbosam: No you cannot do anything else with the PIP excepy move it to those two positions. There are people in th UTV forum that think it might be more in the next software upgrade, but it looks like Microsoft may have given up on UTV.
