You Have Arrived!

And let me welcome you to our happy corner of the WWW. You may notice a bit of lunacy in this part of cyber space, but it is all in good fun. We love to poke fun at each other and ourselves.

Don't be upset if one of your Posts gets derailed occasionally. We will answer well thought-out and CLEAR questions, but often something will strike our fancy . . . and it's off to the races!

Just study hard, READ A LOT! and always remember . . .

PLAY WITH THE PUPPY!

Drinks are on you!

Click on the links in the box below, in particular you will find : the FAQ, Reviews, Play With It, Phases, Planning and ALIAS.CCF helpful when just starting out.

And remember when you ask questions to be specific in your Heading and very specific in your question, including precisely what your problem/question is and what model Remote you have and what OS you are using on your PC.

Also, don't forget the Search Forum at the bottom of the Page. It may seem slow but it is VERY thourough and don't be mislead by the "0%" you will see on the first screen, it is only a progress marker.

Would that be Carlsbad . . . as in New Mexico . . . . or as in Carl's a Naughty, Naughty Boy?

Yeah yeah. Too bad I saw that second word. At least it wasn't a bad one, instead it's white.

Mike I feel bad already for this poor newbie. On his very first post we derailed it already. So carlsbad do you have any questions besides where to start? I am sure you have an issue on PE, so just spill it out. And we'll help.

OK. First, I am a girl ;) Second, why don't you guys first send everyone to the user documentation for the software ProntoEdit so us newbies can understand the Pronto jargon you are using.

carlsbad,

The documentation you mention is a great start - download and read it. The FAQ, however, is even better, tells you all the aw s**t stuff the manual kinda glosses over. Link to the FAQ is in Mike's help bar or the bottom of this page.

I don't feel bad about using your "space", I figured you were out exploring & reading and
finding-out-for-yourself where the resources are.

The BEST way to remember where they are, by-the-way!

We are still open for business (24/7). So . . . Ask Away!!

What is wrong with me? I mean I can not get my sexs straight. Daniel, maybe you should put something next to people's names saying if they are male or female. Well at least for me. lol

Carl,(right?) we weren't trying to be rude or anything. We just didn't know how much you knew. We could of said something along the lines of.
To get started, you must first turn on your computer, and monitor. Look for ProntoEdit4 in your program file section of your computer. OPEN ProntoEdit4 by double clicking on it's icon.

But Mike said it best, it's best that you get started yourself. As for the link that you posted. I had no idea that it was around. Due to the fact I some what knew about PE before I came to this site. I just had questions about the advance problems, features and stuff like that.

I hope that WE, not just me, discourge you from this site, and the wonderful world of Pronto, ProntoEdit. Just to let you know, this is the best site by far to come to for resources. Because it is visted just about every hour, or less. Philips don't even have a message board. And ProntoEdit.com well have you heard of it?
Anyways, if you are still haven problems with PE, just come on here and ask away.

Hey Guys ;) Thanks for your input. I am computer savy and have my own web page where I rent out our beach condo in Oceanside. Your FAQ are great, however not everyone knows how the macros and alias work from your comments. The manual is a great way to start and should be given with the purchase of ProntoPro by Philips! I wasn't venting at you and I am so grateful I have a place to get some help.

Hmm, may I suggest the following:

Carlsbad

Stephane

Or perhaps even:

"This space intentionally left blank"
