Hello:

Does anyone kwows if a button in a PRONTO remote can perform an action while it is pressed repeting it until the button is unpressed.

By example you can think in a VOLUME button. While i press the button, i want that the volume decreases, and decreases an so on until i unpress the VOLUME button.

It's possible and how can i activate the repeat funcion?

Thanks

If the Pronto learnt the code correctly, it should work like the original remote. When learning try pressing the original button longer.

Just like Anthony said. Make sure that when you learn the button from your oem. That you keep on pushing it until your pronto says OK. Or if you are learing it in ProntoEdit. Keep pushing it until your pc says OK. There has been some problems with learning ir codes in ProntoEdit. But I had no problem with it. But you still have this problem. Try learning the codes directly on your Pronto, by not using ProntoEdit. Then when you are done just upload it to your pc and save the ccf.
Hope this helps

yes when learning codes on your Pronto make sure you are pressing your original remote's buttons just like you would normally use them...

what i mean by this is that you wouldn't normally press and unpress your volume buttons repeatedly to adjust the volume - instead you would more likely press and hold the volume buttons until they had adjusted the volume to where you wanted it. thus you must make sure you press and hold the volume up and volume down buttons on your original remote as your Pronto is learning them - in this way the Pronto will thereafter "repeat" the volume up/down commands just like your original remote is doing when you hold down those buttons... :)
