Looking thru the Toshiba VCR CCFs, I noted that there was none for the M761. Which of those listed can I use? Or, do I just try some with model # near the 761?

I guess that once I try it, and if certain things don't work, I will be able to program them to work, eh?

Conceptually, as I am beginning to see things, I should be able to use various parts from diffenent CCfs and tailor them into my specific needs. For example, I should be able to use button designs I like, even if they are not specifically for my units. Broadly, just copy and paste and then program to my specific equipment, eh again?

My newbie approach to all this is to gather info first, mull it over, and then start to tinker by downloading CCFs and see how they work. Of course, I think, it best to download CCFs that cover my specific equipment. I guess I can always change things around once I learn more.

Have you been reading what we write? that is the best approach. This way you will know what it can do and what you want and you will waist less time starting over.

and yes you can mix and match by merging CCFs (best way)
