There was a tread within the last few days talking about updating the firmware. It suggested using PE2 for the undating because it made a more relable connection. I've been trying to look for it. But I have a problem, broken glass, too good of a lap dance. :-)
Anyways. how do I make it available in pe2? I've tried making a folder named "update" this was awhile ago.
But I also do rememeber this, that the firmware updater didn't need a pe, weather it's pe2 or 4.
Thanks for you help inadvance.

Some people with a 1000 find they can't get PE4 to update firmware and they need to use 1.05 instead.

I don't recall that any 2000 owners have had to revert to PE2.

You want to use 1.05 as Peter said. PE 2 is for the 2 meg version.

I spent another 45 minutes downloading ProntEdit 1.05 from this site, and when I tried to open the .EXE Zip file it was corrupted. ;-(

Will someone test that file, and report if it is in fact corrupt?
