Hi, I own a TS1000 that I bought several years ago. At the time I purchased it, I updated software and firmware without problem and added CCFs without problem. I then left the configuration and just used it for the past two years, again without problem. Recently, I wanted to make some changes, so I downloaded the latest version of Pronto Edit and the latest version of the firmware. Mine is Sys v3.5, App v4.7. I downloaded v3.62, v4.85. I have tried updating both through Pronto Edit and through the stand alone updater. In each case, it goes through the process without error. In fact, it reports that all segments are up-to-date and asks if I want to proceed. In each case, I say, "Yes" and it completes. However, when I check the firmware version on the third setup panel, it continues to report v3.5 and v4.7. The only anomaly in the process of downloading or uploading CCFs is that I have to press the backlight button during the process. If I don't, I get the "failed to get valid info from RC Device" message. However, if I hold down the backlight button, everything proceeds normally. Thank you for any guidance or help you can provide. Robb Lazarus

Nevermind. I used ProntoEdit 1.05 and it worked without problem. Clearly, there are problems with 4.0.3. Is it worth using, or should I stick with 1.05?
