Probably a stupid question but - I have 8 devices on my Pronto in ProntoEdit but when I download the ccf it doesn't match. i.e the amplifier screen shows 8 panels but only 5 are downloaded and they're different. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I had the NEo but it didn't support my X10 and LD. Thanks in advance

Both of those are true but it still doesn't seem to listen. I must be doing something wrong, just can't figure it out yet. Firmware and PE software are the latest.

what do you mean by "they are different"?

What happens when you try the Emulator?

Click on the links in the box below, in particular you will find : the FAQ, Reviews, Play With It, Phases, Planning and ALIAS.CCF helpful when just starting out.

And remember when you ask questions to be specific in your Heading and very specific in your question, including precisely what your problem/question is and what model Remote you have and what OS you are using on your PC.

Also, don't forget the Search Forum at the bottom of the Page. It may seem slow but it is VERY thourough and don't be mislead by the "0%" you will see on the first screen, it is only a progress marker.

CLICK ON THESE LINKS
FAQ | Files | Reviews | Play with it | Phases | Planning | ALIAS.CCF | Copying
.BMPs & Galleries
| Discretes | Docking Station | NEO | X-10 | Parts | Cable | Buy/Sell

By different, as an example, page 1 shows buttons for DVD, DBS, LD and so on but when it downloads it skips that row altogether and starts with the next row. Tuner, CD and a blank area that on edit it shows DAT. The emulator matches the remote, exactly. Only 5 pages vs. the 8 in ProntoEdit. This is on every one of my devices. They all have a panel or more that does not download to the 2000. Thanks - Great Forum!

If the emulator matches the remote, then the problem is with your CCF. You likely have some buttons and screens without actions programmed in. If any of your buttons or screens are templates, they will download without codes and will not display.

Look at all codes in all buttons and make sure there is an action programmed, even if it is only a delay.
