RC9200 & CCFUtils Hardkeys in MacroGroups aliased to Device Hardkeys incorrectly.

Marantz has reordered the buttons on the RC5200 and RC9200. The CCFUtils decompiler incorrectly labels the buttons during a decompile. After CSF file adjusted and recompiled, all entries using the [K] or AliasDeviceButton appear to be mapped wrong. Has this been reported?

Vol+ Key of TV Fav Macrogroup maps incorrectly to TV Ch- Key. Upon a decompile of the CCF to CSF, all looks normal. I can trim down my CCF if you so desire.

Has anyone else seen this problem? If so, drop me a note via email to "[email protected]".

Lyndel, Just wanted to post here as well as my email to you earlier today. On my ccf, didn't encounter any incorrect button references, either in the device section or the macro section.

Don't know what is happening with your ccf, but perhaps emailing it to Olivier may help.

Best Regards,
Harris

Lyndel,

I haven't used compiler/decompiler lately so I may be way off base, but are you using the latest version of TouchScreenSetup to create your ccfs? The original version of TSS had mis-associations with the hard buttons, but the latest version, 1.0.14, assigns them correctly.

All, Olivier emailed me a new CCFDLL.DLL to fix this problem. Version 1.0.14 still has a bug when you upgrade your CCF from an RC5000i to the RC9200. The buttons are referenced by an integer index inside the CCFs and TouchScreenSetup did not adjust to correct for the 9200's different button names. For example:

On the 9200, the Mute HardButton was still being referenced as Vol -. Channel - Hardbutton was being reference to Vol +. I found this out the hard way after upgrading and used the CCFTools to do a global search and replace in the text editor.

This problem only occurs if you have One device or macrogroup reference the hardbutton of another device or macrogroup. Most CCFs I have seen just directly reference a panel button containing IR information. The approach I used was just another way of accomplishing the goal. And thanks to this approach, I discovered a bug for all of us 5200 and 9200 users.

Thanks go to Olivier for providing such a quick fix with less than 24 hour turnaround.
