Hi there,

my ProntoPro Charger will not charge the remote. I have tried a different power supply from my old pronto & I can verify that it is not the problem.

The charger will not display any lights at all. I may have recently been very slightly knocked & had some very minor contact with a drink over a week ago.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would try taking it apart, could just be a bad connection. Also (stupid question) but are you sure there is nothing wrong with the power socket.

I am 100 % sure that the power socket & power supply are working ok as they can charge my normal Pronto. Is there any way of charging the battery pack while the charger is being repaired?

The second charger will not work as it is for a Pronto TSU 1000 & the ProntoPro cannot dock on it

Do the two LEDs glow very dimly in a dark room? If not, and you're sure the power supply is working, then its brief contact with liquid may well have short-circuited something internal.

The LEDs do not glow at all so I think that the brief contact with liquid may have short-circuited something internally as suggested.

I just hope that it is not going to be too difficult to repair as I am in Australia & they don't sell ProntoPro's here.

sorry did not realize they were different (your two remotes, not the Ds-1000 /prontoPro chargers)

Last weekend my ProntoPro refused to charge, I returned it my dealer who ascertained the base station was at fault, he has supplied me with a new base station as it is under warranty.
