My mother recently trod on my RC5000 and cracked the screen. I have visited earthlcd.com to puchase another screen. It seems only screen they have available from the list of screens in the Pronto/Rc5000 FAQ section is the Samsung UG24U01WGHT3A.

When reading through the specs for this screen I noticed a warning stating that this screen is not the screen used on the Philips Pronto's with the model number that ends in 'B'.

Can anyone tell me if my RC5000 (Model No. TS5000/02) is the same or different the Pronto with the model number that ends in 'B' and if the Samsung UG24U01WGHT3A screen will work in my RC5000 or not?

Some screens have large components in different places than others, which means you may need to cut some of the plastic away inside the remote.
