Hey guys,
I´ve been messing around with Supernudelist, but i just can´t seem to get it working......My question is: How do i get all my mp3 albums to "appear" on the pronto? My idea is to have a button for each album, press it and Winamp plays the album. Yes, i have the IRMan....
Any tips/guides?
TIA - Trace

A few steps: 1) You need either girder (a general automation tool) or the IR playlist plugin for Winamp. 2) You need a playlist for each album, easiest if these are 1.m3u, 2.m3u etc. 3) A list of artist, album, playlist number (and tracks if required) Have a look at [Link: remotecentral.com]Personally I use a database to store all the MP3s, based on the CDJ database www.nirvis.comI use scripts to load all the MP3s into the database and then I have scripts that create the playlists and also the export file for supernudelist. If you want to go into further detail with this let me know. Regards, Bruce. This message was edited by Bruce Hartley on 06/22/02 05:23.01.

Thanks Bruce,
Would you go into detail? I´m not sure i get it!? *G* You mean that I don´t have to input all the text into nudelist manually right?

While Bruce has a labour saving route, you may want to walk before running.
You need to download the Winamp plugin (don't bother with Girder if all you need is Winamp control) from the Evation site, and install. Setup a new device on the Pronto to control this plugin via IRMan. Then setup Supernudelist to operate this new device.
Enter a couple of artists and albums into a new Supernudelist album list.
Tell it how an album can be selected using the device on the Pronto. For the IRMan Winamp plugin it is;
Before disc - set to whatever you told it was Playlist and then set the pad and delay as required.
Now, supernudelist will create button presses, such as Playlist, 1, 2 for 12.m3u, where 12 was the album number in the list.

I posted a similar question: I have an ATI Remote Wonder ( [Link: remotecentral.com]) that works on RF frequency to control my PC's TV tuner card, WinAmp (& whatever other s/w I want) through an RF device plugged into my PC's USB port. How could I setup the Pronto to take control over this same level of functionality? What else do I need to purchase, if anything - IR543? Basically, I'd also like to control my WinAmp via Pronto 2000. What is required to set this up? (sorry - i'm not as up to speed as others). What is IRMan? Where do I get it? What else is required? Any other details would be great - thanks!

Thanks for all the replies.
So far:
I´ve got a panel that controls Winamp/IRMan, stop, play and so on. My problem is nudelist, i´ve made a list with 3 albums, but no matter which album button i press, it plays the same album every time!? How does nudelist "know" which folder my albums are in? I suppose I should have all my albums in one dir. sorted by alphabet right? I hope i have made myself somewhat clear.....
TIA - Trace

In the winamp plugin you set the playlist location to the folder that has all your album playlists in it. The playlists must be called 1.m3u, 2.m3u etc.
Then when the "supernudelist" Pronto sends 1,3 the plugin knows to load playlist 13
You need to create all the playlists with numbered names. You also need a list of playlist numbers, albums and artists (and tracks if required).
This is then used by supernudelist to create the pronto file.
Korey,
When I get home this evening I will post details of how I use CDJ.
Regards, Bruce.

Ok, here goes. I exported to a .csv file, but nudelist tells me that "the following list was not output because it was empty".......what does this mean?
Thanks for all your help - Trace

Did you manage to import the csv into supernudelist. Does the list of albums show up. Could you email your csv to [email protected]I'll take a look and see if I can help.
