I own a Grundig DVD player (XENARO GDP 5100). While learning the IR codes I noticed som strange behaviour. The button >> for fast view reacts only once. The speed then changes to 2X, successive pressing doesn't change anything. I did some research, I "learned" the code several times and saved them in a Word doc. After comparison it seems as if there are two different codes. The first time it sends code A and the second time it sends code B. The third time it's code A again. Does anybody know whats is happening here and how to implement this strange (for me) behaviour?

Try programming two buttons with each the other code and see if it does anything different like that.

I tried to define two buttons with either IR code, this seems to work OK. As far as I know this is the first remote that acts like this. Is there a way to define a macro that "toggles" between the two IR codes? Or some other solution?

If they really have 2 different functions, you can assign them to 2 different buttons, if they don't, there's no use to do this.
Toggle is going to be hard because you never really know for sure what state it is currently in.

Grundig uses togglebit. If you show your e-mail address I can send you the codes.

Thophe,
Thank you for replying. I think Haav has a solution, I'll try that first.
