I have a TS1000 and use Prontoedit version 4.0.3. When trying to update the firmware, I select the correct Pronto model, however when the instructions call for hitting the reset on the back of the unit, the progress bar stops and I get a message that says "Could not get information of your boot segment". The unit then reboots to the old firmware version. Any ideas on how to get a proper firmaware update would be greatly apprecaited.

Some people are having more success by doing the update in PE 1.05.

You should also check what firmware version you already have, as it is more than likely to be already up to date.

Also, I have never been asked to do a Reset. Not sure why it is doing that.
