After downloading protoedit I get some error about something.dll and I was still able to finish the setup. But when I try to send a cff to the TS1000 I get cannot d/l to the device. Iv tried different CFF but none seem to work. I tried two different computers. what happens after I try to write to the device is I get a message saying " TS1000 contains a modified configuration from Mon. Dec. 04 2000 do you want to overwrite" I press yes, then I get error downloading configuration into device. Whats going on

Is this the referenced .dll? MFC42.DLLclick on it and see if you can get any farther. Then: Click on the links in the box below, in particular you will find : the FAQ, Reviews, Play With It, Phases, Planning and ALIAS.CCF helpful when just starting out.
And remember when you ask questions to be specific in your Heading and very specific in your question, including precisely what your problem/question is and what model Remote you have and what OS you are using on your PC.
Also, don't forget the Search Forum at the bottom of the Page. It may seem slow but it is VERY thourough and don't be mislead by the "0%" you will see on the first screen, it is only a progress marker.

Heres is exactly what im getting when I try to setup Protoedit in Win98SE. Error 1904. Modue C:\Program Fies\common files\Microsoft shared\DAO\Dao350.dll failed to register. I can then abort retry or ignore. Retry doesnt work so I would ignore but cant write to the RC
