Hi,

I understand the RC9200 can have Please wait page while it's running a long macro, but how exactly do I make it work? Do I create my own page but how do I insert it?

If my macros are outside Macro section, can I still take advantage of this?

Your help is much appreciated,

Simon

create a panel with the message and a very small button with an action (i.e. a 1x1 button), since a panel will not show if it does not contain an active button. On your button add a jump to this panel, run macro and then add a jump to bring you back or the next panel

If you e-mail me, I'll send you a copy of the current 9200 file I have, which has a "Please Wait" screen.

You can pick it apart and see what makes it tick.

John -

Are you still working on the new one I "critiqued" or is this a different one?

We made the switch to the 9200's and I'm changing my whole layout for it, including "wait/executing" panels. If you & your airhead girlfriend aren't still mad, send me a copy.

When I'm done I'll send you mine to make fun of so you can get even!

i am assuming that there is no way for the pronto to preform this type of operation...correct? Let me know if there is a way to do it.

Neil,

Not that I've ever seen, it takes the multiple jumps in an action list ability of the Marantz line.
