Has anyone ever heard of it being used to open garage doors? I'd like to be able to open my Genie garage door and leave the last control I have in the car...

The RF Extender RFX-6000 is designed only to accomodate extending the TSU-6000's InfraRed signal, but some ingenuitive folks HAVE modified them by replacing some parts inside to have it control other RF items I believe. Is it worth all that work and effort just to open a garage door? Only you can say :) You could just as easily duct tape one of the tiny keychain-remote garage door openers to the ProntoPro and call it a day :)
