With my setup, I would prefer to leave the ProntoPro
docked at all times. Is there any problem with doing this? Will it still still transmit codes when docked. Will it burn out the battery? Can it still still learn while docked?

Consensus is that there is no harm to battery in leaving a Pronto on charger.

My Pronto TS-1000 has been left on the dock (except when in use) since late 1998... everything still works fine. I exchanged the battery with a TSU2000 a little while ago, which rarely goes on the dock, and battery life seems just fine.

I don't have as much experience as Daniel, since Nov 99 but no problems here either.
