I'm buying the remote today. BUt I've played with ProntoEdit 4 and it all looks a little daunting!!!

My plan is to download the CCF's I like from this web site and then merger them to get the final version and then to use the learning feature on the remote itself to get the correct codes in for my system.

Is this a god way to do it?

Thanks

F

By all means download the graphical CCF's you like but also take a few moments to download the ones that contain the equipment you have. All you need do then is copy/paste the codes rather than having to learn them all.

100% agreed there. I have asked these questions, and was also daunted, now I have a 90% working system, definately a good thing to play with the editor 1st. Carefull on merging too, I found it was best to merge a file, then save as, then again and so on, as one of my configs caused problems, thanks to David for the help there.
