Thanks so much to anyone and everyone who offers me some guidance.... I just got a TSU2000 and feel suddenly overwhelmed by the process of programing it. Any comments on where I should start? My room has a Onkyo DS989, Toshiba SD-5700 DVD, and Sanyo PLC-XP21N Projector at this point - with more components to come. So - what should I do? Do I download one of the sweet looking set-ups I've seen on this website? But, those setups all have different components programed... Do I find a interface I like, then backfill the device codes OR do I program the device codes and then fill in a graphic look? Thanks so much, I really appreciate it.

Both are equally good ways to go about it. Also for Info here is Mike's help bar, it has a lot of useful links. Also the best thing to do is look at a few CCFs for ideas, and then make a plan of what you want.

Thanks for your reply. In your (or anyone's) opinion - what resource out there serves as the best "Idiot's Guide to Programming Your Pronto"? Is there any booklet or printable resource that really walks you thru it? Thanks again!

No idiot's guide, PE might seem a bit weird when you start, but after a while it becomes second nature. Your CCF will say a lot about you, and in a sense it is like a work of art (individual creation), that is why no one can tell you how to set it up. scan through the links in the bar in my last post, and to quote Mike "Play with the puppy". Also don't forget that there is a lot of knowledge on this forum and I am sure you could get a lot of help with any good (precise) question

And don't be afraid to ask questions on the things you find confusting. It will take some time to get used to the programming, and there are some tricks to make things easier. But generally, play with it for a while, and make some simple pages.
IMHO, the be advice I could give is use Alias pages for your remote codes. This will allow you to change equipment without going through the entire remote to change every single code referance. you will only have to change one page of codes (most of the time).
