hello all,

i own a kv32fx60 from sony , but i can't find any working discrete power codes .

tryed the ones in file section of this site.
power on is no problem (0 works fine)

but power off is a problem .

also the mute function displays a mute symbol all the time , any ideas to get rid of this.

I don't think you will find a discrete off code. I have a Sony KV32DS60 with the same problem. There have been various threads on this issue.

The mute symbol is a funtion of the TV and I am not aware of any way to remove it. The only solution I can think of is to turn the volume down instead of using the mute button.

arnold,

I have the same tv and the same problem, but I use a work around. I don't know if its bugged yet but works with my evrything off everything on macro, just use the toggle power for the off macro and the descrete on for the on macro. It's not perfect but it,s working so far.

Why not just turn the sound all they way down in stead of muting?

hello dave ,

yep , i will have to use that to .
but it's a problem when i listen to radio without tv.
when you then press all off the tv comes on.

it's possible to turn the sound down , but
-1- it's slow
-2- when i go back to tv sound it's always down .

so not realy a problem , but it would be better to use mute if the logo disappeared.

Try this for the discrete power off

0000 0067 0000 000d 0060 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 03de

It works with my KV32fx65

As for the mute display I would also like to remove the icon :0)

Strange, I got the same TV, my on/off code is the same, and works fine. Have you got an import TV with maybe a different IR?
