Hmm, that sounds bad, I suspect your projector may be using some sort of toggle/parity bit. If so, that means there are two different "on" commands (well, one command an a bit that changes) and the second press of the on/off button isn't recognized because the parity bit hasn't been switched.

If that is the case, you are out of luck. The only toggle bit codes that I'm aware of that work with a Pronto are Phillips own RC5 commands.

Sounds to me like your best hope at this point is to contact Epson and see if a replacement remote is available.

The thing is that the "dirty"code is working..... So back to may question is it possible to "find out" or some way to test diffrent codes to find out what code it's for menu etc.

If the dirty code works, and my code's only sort of work, I must haved quessed the protocol wrong. I wonder if some sort of repeat is neccessary, and I overcleaned the codes? Let me think about it and see what I can come up with.
