hi all, i am a newbie at this. so please be understanding about all the stupid questions that i will be asking. i was trying to add a second panel(page) to my cable function. i right-clicked on the first panel, and select add panel. and then i have created a panel with tabs, with my favorite tv stations logos, so i can program the codes in later. however, after i saved the file and downloaded it into the pronto tsu2000, nothing happened. under the cable function, i only have 1 page, which was the first panel. did i do something very wrong? i tried various aliases, and jump to links, but neither worked. i even tried to programmed it to the left button, so it will bring up my second panel, and still failed. how come when i created a panel, i can't use the down arrow to access that next panel.....all prontophiles please help. thanks in advance...........gb

To be an active panel, it has to have at least one button, and that button has to have an action. Add a delay to one of the buttons on your second panel and it should become visable. Only buttons with an action (or delay) will show on this panel however. Jim L

God, what a stupid question!! Just kidding.....
If you alias to something that has no codes, it's not going to do anything. If there are no actions on a button, the button doesn't display.
Sounds to me like you need to start putting codes on your new buttons. Either teach them directly from your old remote, or alias the new buttons to others that already have a code.
Your lamp is not plugged in, it will not light. your device is not plugged in (to a code) nothing happens.
PS Jim is right, except that if you put in a delay, you will be able to see the button, all right, but it won't actually do anything because you haven't told it what to do.
Capisce??

It does sound like Jim and Joel have given you the answer. The only thing that I will add is that if you put your Pronto into learn mode, you should be able to access that panel (even if it does not have a command). The Pronto gets rid (hides) anything that is useless in use mode. This way you can keep stuff you no longer need, or add stuff for future use.
